Word Verification

Ok, so I finally had to turn word verification on. Sorry guys, but unfortunately the spam had to go. Hope everyone is doing well.

I know. I haven't updated for awhile, or so someone has pointed out to me. I think I have run out of important things to put on here for the moment. Not much going on in my head, which can be a good thing. ;) But I can update everybody on a few things that have been going on.

Thursday, my friend Jenn called me up and invited me to go to Charleston with her. I agreed and after we were halfway there, I asked her what we were going to do there. Hehe. So trusting I am of her. =) Anyway, we went to this coffeehouse where they were having open mic night. It was fun! I had a yummy Kahlua Mocha and got to hear some free-thinking individuals sing and read poetry. Good time.

My very intelligent friend, Bonnie, graduated this weekend with her 2nd Master's Degree. I don't know how I will even associate with her now that she has reached such a higher level of education than I. But, congrats Bon!

A couple of weekends ago, I visited Cape Girardeau (where I went to college). It was beautiful down there. Here are a few pics I took:

The house that Kristen, Michelle and I lived in. It was white when we lived in it and they have painted it green! Coolest place I've lived so far. And from the cooler and the beach towels laying on the roof, I guess it is still a party spot.













And, I just have one more thing to say. WHAT IS WRONG WITH AMERICA? Why was Chris Daughtry voted off American Idol!!?!?! This is an injustice and I do not think I can get past it. I have been a loyal fan for all 5 seasons until now, but I think this may be the end for me. At the least, this is going to take time for the wound to heal.
